 Here is my 1/48 scale Hasegawa F/A-18D Hornet done in the VMFA(AW)-242 Bats markings. The decals were from the kit. I airbrushed this model in standard US Navy TPS using Model Masters enamels. I used my "spot touch-ups" technique to simulate the weathering. Water color pastels were used to highlight the recessed panel lines. Ordinance is from a Hasegawa Weapons set. I used a BlackBox cockpit which adds a lot of detail to the already beautiful Hasegawa model.
