My name is Artur Szopa , I’m 32 years old guy working as an IT Specialist . My home – Poland , Warsaw - most of my interesting and hobby are the Modern US Naval planes but also whole spectrum of US planes from WWII to modern jet age. With bunch of brothers we create a Polish F-14 association – name “TOMCATSKY” – this a group of modelers who loves the F-14 and interesting mostly in naval air power.
For this project I used Hasegawa set in 1:72 scale . Plastic form is old but with nice details and panel lines . Some of the elements I scratch build – cocpit , ejection seat and APU , rest I upgraded using Eduard Photo etched set. Decals option – TwoBobs set for VFA-22 Redcocks Squadron , Operation Enduring Freedom. For painting I used Gunze Paints , they are really amazing and much more accurate for FS colors. Wheatering done with pastel chocks and powders ( Windsor&Newton ) protect by Future clear ( in Poland Johnson&Johnson Floor Wax ) . So enjoy watching my BUG project.
