Built about two years ago from the Otaki kit in 1/48th scale. I built it straight from the box. I had to look close to be sure it was the Otaki. The scribing is so nice on those old kits, I thought maybe it was a Hasegawa. But the one weakness of the kit gave it away. The canopy. If it were a Hasegawa I'd have the canopy opened. And the poor fit of the rear quarter windows is a hint of its linage. Very easy kit to build. Simple engineering. The interior is lacking in detail and basic. I used Model Master paints and Aeromaster decals followed by Testers Dullcoat applied at the end. Exhaust staining done with my airbrush as was my habit back then. This being before I started using ground pastel chalks.
