This is my model of the Corsair F4U-5 1/48. I used as base the model F4U-5N of Hasegawa. The represented plane is the Corsair 3-A-212 (ex US Navy BuAer # 122031), based on the "Base Aeronaval Comandante Espora" during 1964.

I devote this work to the personnel of the Argentine Navy affected to the Second Attack Escadrille between 1956 and 1964, as well as to all personnel and collaborative of the Aeronaval Museum of Comandante Espora, Bahía Blanca, province of Buenos Aires.
