THE COBRA RESIN SH-60B SEAHAWK.

Absolutely a beautiful kit to built, although not easy it  is worth the money specially when you think that only 500 were made and you have one them and that’s just the point that kept me some time from building it. So one day I started and I must say it was great fun making the Seahawk in resin, with some Academy plastic parts, yes the complete Academy kit is also in the box, the white metal parts, the etch parts, the decals and the very good building instructions.

While building I decided to make some opened sidepanels and to make the first Seahawk with FLIR/Hellfire conversions, described in Squadron Walkaround. The BuNo. 162991, one of the decaloptions, was the first with FlIR/Hellfire, the nr. 22 hade to be changed to 20.

Furthermore I superdetailed both rotorheads and used some Greif lenses for the Hellfire rockets and sensors at the bottom of the cabin.

Paints used were Testors, and the figures on the deck are from Verlinden and Hasegawa the fire tractor is also Verlinden the deck itself is a Custom Dioramics product.
