This is “Vought Corsair F4 U1” from Tamiya. This Corsair which is named “Bubbles” used by Marine Corps in Guadalcanal during 1943 . The fitting and the detail level of this kit is excellent , so it s built mostly OOB .

The cockpit parts are painted to the interior green and black. The kit decal used on the instrument panel. I also have added PE seat belts from Eduard.

The painting was done with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics .The lower surfaces are painted with Tamiya sky grey lightened by adding white(FS 36440). The color of the top surfaces is “Blue grey -FS 15189” . For this color I ve used a mixture from Gunze “blue grey”, “blue” and “white” .

Aluminium areas are painted with Alclad II . Eduard mask used on the clear parts painting. The decals are from Eagle Strike Best Seller –Corsair collection (#48085)
