This is the Grand Pheonix  1/48  F3H-2N Demon.   This kit was an absoulute pleasure to work on. It didnt go together perfectly but thats what I like. The trailing edges were a litle to thick and fitting the forward fusalauge assembley was a bit of a challenge.   The entire model was painted with MM enamels and all of the Ac was post shaded with pastels. I choose to build this kit OOB becouse it came with so much resin and fantastic decals that I realy dont think I would have been able to improve this kit.

I entered this model in my first Nationals at Atlanta in 2005 and was fortunant enough to win best OOB in 1/48 medium jet with it.
