Mask the between of the deck pattern. |

I used the Zimmerit coating technique which
is popular in AFV modeling.
|
|
|
Thinned Tamiya polyester putty with Gunze Mr. Color thinner, then paste it on the deck. |
|
|
Then slide the Tamiya Zimmerit tool. I used 0.5mm blade. |
|
|
Spread the paste until it become
transparent. |
|
|
Don't make the lines as if drawn by machine. |
|
|
The pattern between the panels is in a longitudinal direction. I put thinned Tamiya regular putty, and then mark patterns with the brush. |
|
|
The completion of the deck surface pattern. |
|
|
Put the Flightpath's Tie Down anchor in the hole. |
|
|
Glue etched part on the metal part with instant glue. |
|
|
Pour pulpy thinned polyester putty into the gap around the hole. |
