I used a photo frame for the diorama base. Size is 24 x 36 inches.

I used Plexiglas for the surface of the diorama.
This is the 1/32 US NAVY Carrier Deck Diorama Set from Flightpath. I used 3 sets because of the number of tie downs.

In this set, there are chains, 24 tie downs, wheel chocks and tow bar.
Figures and tractor resin kit from Belgium PWMP. If you need these, please contact me.
I used lots of Evergreen plastics for scratchbuilding the JDB.
VF-213 on Carl Vinson

I simulated VF-213 on Carl Vinson as shown this photo.
The tomcat has the nickname "Turkey", because it's shape during 'takeoff' resembles a turkey.

First of all, I set the stage and layout of people and an aircraft. Unfortunately, I'm missing catapult operation crews in this diorama.
At the moment of the take off, Tomcat sets her nose down to the ground. It's cool, isn't it!
Because of the delays in the arrival of the figures, I set the positions with substitutes. Far left and right side of figures are from the Tamiya F-14 box. The second one from left is from the Academy F/A-18C kit. The second from right one is CMK resin kit. I did not use them except for one from Tamiya after all.
